Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Lightning ERP collects and processes personal data, including when using website, our tools, or our services.

1. Personal data administration and processing

Lightning ERP cares about protecting the right to privacy of individuals and, while we may rely on local laws, we aim to uphold the Personal Data protection standards of the GDPR.

The user/customer using the website, tools, and services of the Lightning ERP confirms that he/she has read the provisions of this privacy policy while consenting (if necessary) to the use of his/her personal data in accordance with these provisions by checking the appropriate checkboxes provided on the website (the contents of the checkboxes specify the purpose for which the personal data provided will be used).

 

1.1. Administrator of the data

The personal data of the users of Lightning ERP websites, tools, or services is administered by Grzegorz Zajaczkowski CFPM with its registered office in Warsaw, 73 Chmielna Street, 00-801 Warsaw.

Lightning ERP is a company providing cloud solutions for manufacturing and distribution. 
We have led implementations for multinational manufacturing and distribution companies in Europe and Asia and provided system support and ongoing enhancements based on the Infor ecosystem.


 

1.2. The purposes of data collection

Lightning ERP, as an administrator of users' and customers' personal data, when collecting and processing users' and customers' personal data, applies first of all the principles arising from the legislation in force on the protection of personal data, i.e. the principles of:

  • minimization of the scope of personal data and limitation of the purpose of processing,

  • processing data lawfully, fairly, and transparently,

  • integrity and confidentiality of processed personal data,

  • limit the time of processing and storage of data to the necessary minimum.

 

Personal data is collected by Lightning ERP for:

  • providing services related to the software produced by ERP,

  • customer service, including providing technical support,

  • statistical analysis for service improvement purposes.

 

Provision of personal data by the user/customer is voluntary or may be a prerequisite for the use of Lightning ERP tool/service, including the conclusion of an agreement for Lightning ERP tool/service. In such a case, the consequence of not providing personal data will be the inability to use the Lightning ERP tool/service.

 

The legal bases for Lightning ERP's processing of users'/customers' personal data are:

  • the consent is given by the user/customer for the processing of personal data,

  • the need to process the user's/customers' personal data in connection with the performance of a contract entered into between the user/customer and Lightning ERP or in connection with taking actions before entering into such a contract,

  • the necessity to process the user's/customers' personal data in connection with the achievement of purposes arising from legitimate interests pursued by Lightning ERP as a data controller.


 

1.3. Types of data

User/customer data may be collected through contact forms provided on the website https://www.lightning-erp.com. A Lightning ERP user/customer may be asked by Lightning ERP to provide, in particular, the following personal data: first name, last name, email address, mailing address, Tax ID, telephone number, and company name.

Another type of user/customer data may be data related to the use of our products or services. Such data include logs, session data, etc. More details about this type of data will be completed with the implementation of new tools. 


 

2. Cookies

Lightning ERP uses cookies on its websites, described in detail below. By using the websites without changing the browser settings on your device, you consent to Lightning ERP's use of cookies. The user/customer may at any time change the browser settings that determine the use of cookies.

 

Lightning ERP uses cookies to identify the browser a user uses when using the Lightning ERP website. Cookies are small text files sent by a website to a user's device and stored on it, which servers can then read each time the user connects from that device. Cookies contain the name of the domain from which they originate, the value specified by the site owner, and the storage time on the user's device. The cookies used by Lightning ERP include at least the following types of cookies:

  • session cookies, which remain on the user's device until the user closes the browser (removes it from the device's operational memory),

  • permanent, which remain on the user's device for the time specified by the site owner or until they are deleted by the user,

  • statistical and enabling tracking of website traffic using Google Analytics.

 

Cookies are commonly used by most developed websites/webpages, among others, for the purpose of improving the quality of their operation. Cookies are used by Lightning ERP exclusively for the following purposes:

  • improve the quality of tools/services provided,

  • analyzing traffic on the site,

  • marketing purposes.


 

3. Sharing of personal data

To ensure the proper operation of websites and webpages, Lightning ERP uses the services of third parties. Lightning ERP transfers data to these entities only when it is necessary to fulfill the given purpose of personal data processing and only to the extent necessary for its fulfillment. Examples of recipients of personal data of users/customers of the website are providers of services that support the work of Lightning ERP, e.g., providers of computer software to run the website, email, and hosting providers.

Recipients of data (external entities) process personal data based on entrustment agreements signed with Lightning ERP. These entities collect, process, and store personal data in accordance with their regulations and privacy policies.

For the rest, the personal data of a Lightning ERP user/customer may be shared by Lightning ERP with other entities only if the user/customer expressly agrees to the sharing. Data may also be shared with entities, including, in particular, state authorities, authorized to obtain such data under applicable laws and regulations.

 

4. Data security

Lightning ERP as an administrator of personal data has implemented and applies technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of the processed data appropriate to the risks and categories of protected data, and in particular, protects the data from access to data by unauthorized persons, acquisition by an unauthorized person, processing in violation of applicable laws, and alteration, loss, damage or destruction.

 

5. Users' rights

Any user/customer whose data is processed by Lightning ERP has the right to complain with a supervisory authority in the field of personal data protection if he/she considers that the processing of personal data by Lightning ERP violates data protection regulations or his/her rights and freedoms.

A user/customer who has provided Lightning ERP with his/her personal data has the right to access the content of such personal data and the right to rectify, erase, or restrict its processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object to its processing at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on consent before its withdrawal.

To the extent that the use of the data provided by the user/customer is based on the consent provided by the user/customer, the user/customer has the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the legality of the processing carried out based on consent before its withdrawal.

 

6. Change of privacy policy

Lightning ERP reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy by publishing a new version of the Privacy Policy on the Lightning ERP website.

Regardless of reading the Privacy Policy, you are advised to read the information clauses and/or terms and conditions of the individual Lightning ERP forms, products, and services, which may contain detailed information.
