Yesterday our Ministry of Finance published information about postponing the Electronic Invoice requirement for Poland. It was already the third postponement so far. How often will it be re-scheduled before polish companies will impact this new obligation of issuing invoices in electronic format? - We don't know that, but according to MF, the new regulations will take effect on July 1, 2024.
According to the MF, there have been a lot of postulates related to electronic invoicing from accountants, IT, polish companies, etc. Therefore the MF has decided not only to postpone the effective date but also to implement changes in the electronic invoice process, for example:."
KSeF will not cover consumer invoices (B2C).
Tickets that function as invoices (including receipts on toll motorways) will be excluded from KSeF.
Invoices from cash registers and simplified invoices can be issued in their current form until December 31, 2024.
n the event of a failure on the taxpayer's part, it is possible to issue invoices offline outside the KSeF and deliver the invoice to the KSeF the next day after giving it offline."
Even though the effective date has changed for polish companies, the Lightning-ERP don't slow down their work with creating and testing the solutions which will be compatible with both the Cloud and the old On-Premise versions of Infor M3. We want to ensure our clients will be ready when the Big Day happens.
